This drag racing video has all the passes in it from the second round of eliminations at the 2006 Street Car Super Nationals event, held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This was primarily a V-8 event, but there were champions from various sanctions running against each other, including a number of NHRA Sport Compact rear wheel drive racers. For instance, the Toyota camp was well-represented, with 2006 NHRA Sport Compact champion Brad Personett, who was running against his biggest NHRA competitor, Matt Scranton. Matt has the 180 cubic inch six cylinder Toyota motor, while another NHRA competitor, Gary White, was running his 183 cubic inch inline-6 Toyota engine. David Schorr, the Fun Ford Weekend Pro Champion, was a very consistent runner, while Ed Thorton, the three-time PSCA Pro Street champ, was in attendance as well. Other racers included Steve Paulauskis, the 2006 PSCA Pro Street points winner, and Vince Budano, the NMCA Pro Street champion.
