These race cars can be turbocharged, nitrous, or all-motor, and intercoolers are allowed, with weight differences for various configurations. It takes a lot of turbo boost to run 8-second passes in this class! Eric Madson came out and set a new PRA e.t. record of 8.67 at this race. He runs mechanical fuel injection, but his closest competitor, Eric Calabrese, runs the electronic fuel injection controller from AEM. Madson drives a Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, while Calabrese drives a VW bug. Justin Levitte was the announcer for this race.
